Asian Americana Guest Room

With her kids off to college, our client wanted to transform the teenage boy space into an inviting guest room. We drew from Americana folk textiles, furniture shapes, and art but infused nostalgic nods to Asian and Asian American design. The retro browns and ochre tones are contrasted with bright poppy red, which is fitting for both a folksy and vintage Asian palette.
